Australia to hold expos on mine, health in Iran

Australia plans to hold exhibitions on mine and health sectors in regional countries, including Iran late March, Australian embassy said in a statement.

The events named "2017 Australia Unlimited MENA" are scheduled for March 11-19 and would display Australian potential and capabilities in mine and health in the Middle East and North Africa, the statement read.
 
Australian leading universities and companies are taking part in the exhibitions.
 
The expos include high-ranking sessions, technical panels and meetings between Australian companies with officials, industry and projects owners in Iran, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
 
Iran, Australia commercial exchanges totaled $152 million in 2015-2016, $60 million of which had been Iran’s exports to the country, showing 75 percent rise comparing to the statistics in the year before.
