Iran, Bangladesh stress boosting bilateral economic ties

TEHRAN, March 28, YJC - Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said the parliament is ready to approve legal mechanisms to develop bilateral ties between Iran and Bangladesh.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - "Extensive potential of the two countries should be used through boosting interactions between their private sectors and removing certain obstacles,” Larijani said in a meeting with Bangladeshi Ambassador to Iran Mujibur Rahman Bhuiyan here in Tehran.
 
He also expressed hope that bilateral trade and economic interactions between the two countries would be speeded up through improving banking cooperation.
 
Mujibur Rahman Bhuiyan, for his part, stressed his country’s willingness to develop bilateral economic, parliamentary and political ties with Iran, adding, "Bangladesh welcomes any move to expand close ties with Tehran.”
 
"Bangladeshi private sector and traders are enthusiastic to boost commercial and economic relations with Iran,” he added.
