TEHRAN, April 18, YJC - Georgian Minister of Economy Giorgi Gakharia stressed building a transit corridor between Persian Gulf and Black Sea as soon as possible.

A transit corridor between Persian Gulf and Black Sea should be built as soon as possible, Gakharia said in a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif in Tbilisi.
There are many potential in regional countries which can be used by all countries in case the corridor is established, he added.
The two sides also discussed cooperation between Iran and Georgia in economic fields, banking, joint investment, energy, road building and construction.
Zarif started his tour to Central Asia and Caucasus Sunday afternoon. He first visited
Turkmenistan and is going to visit Kyrgyzstan after his visit to Georgia.
