Tehran, YJC. The Oil Minister says that Iran is willing to provide Turkey with more energy carriers.
Rostam Qasemi said "The 9th cross-country gas
pipeline will stretch to the Bazargan border in cooperation with Turkey and to
increase gas export to the country.”
He added "The 9th cross-country pipeline is under construction from Ahvaz to Dehlegan. It will stretch to the Bazargan border through contracts with Turkish companies and the final contract will be signed soon.”
Qasemi also provided comments that more than $12 billion of the $22-billion Iran-Turkey trade in the last year has been in the energy section.
