TEHRAN, May 9, YJC - Iranian Ambassador to Vienna Abdollah Molaei said the volume of commercial exchanges between Iran and Austria has been tripled, reaching 121 million euro over the first 2 months of 2017.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - He said statistics show that Iran-Austria commercial exchanges have reached 121 million euro (over the first two months of 2017) from 34 million euro in the similar period in 2016.
 
Tehran and Vienna still enjoy considerable potential for expanding and boosting bilateral economic ties and forming cooperation, the ambassador added.
 
He added that the two countries have 18 direct flights per week.
 
The Iranian diplomat continued that the second joint economic commission between the two sides is scheduled to be held at the level of ministers in near future.
 
Iranian Minister of Economy Ali Tayyeb-Nia and Governor of Central Bank of Iran Valiollah Seif are going to visit the European country, which is another important step in expanding bilateral economic and banking ties between Tehran and Vienna, he noted.
