TEHRAN, May 14, YJC - The Indian Deputy Foreign Minister Jaishankar heading a politico-economic delegation will visit Tehran this Tuesday.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Within the framework of expansion of relations between Tehran and New Delhi, India’s deputy Foreign Minister Jaishankar will have a two-day visit to Tehran on Tuesday, May 16, to hold consultative-political talks with Iranian officials.
On 23 May 2016, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, heading a high-ranking political, economic and cultural delegation made a historic visit to Tehran during which 12 MoUs were signed between the two sides on economic, trade, transport, cultural, scientific and academic cooperation.
The Chabahar Port trilateral agreement was also signed by Iran, India and Afghanistan, which will allow India access to Afghanistan via the strategically located Iranian port of Chabahar on the Sea of Oman.
