Araqi said that Iran lacks mini LNG know-how, adding Japan, South Korea and Germany have expressed their readiness to take part in the tender.
Iran’s Research Institute of Petroleum Industry and South Korea have signed a research agreement to build a mini LNG.
He said that in case there is going to be a tender for building mini LNG plants in Iran, there needs to be an Iranian joint company to transfer of the expertise to Iranian companies.
