Tehran, YJC. Senior Consultant to IRIB Director General has said that the Gospel of Barnabas is the key fact behind Pope’s resignation.

Speaking in Imam Khomeini International University, Nader Talebzadeh, Senior Consultant to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasing, provided comments on the Pope’s resignation from office and said "In the past 600 years no pope has ever resigned. Therefore a question arises in the public mind as to the reason for it. Of course the justification provided by the West is that the Pope had grown old.”

Concerning the true reason behind the Pope’s resignation, Talebzadeh said "A gospel named the Gospel of Barnabas which recognizes the prophet of Islam, which Christianity claims to be fake, is the reason. Throughout history whenever the gospel was found it was quickly bought and disappeared. It is a gospel in which the name of Islam’s prophet has been mentioned many times.”

"The gospel was found in 2000 by the Turkish Police and is being kept there since,” Talebzadeh stated.

He added that "Pope has seen the gospel and been shocked by it. He doesn’t want to answer questions and therefore has resigned, because Jesus has many times in the gospel given news of the coming of Muhammad (PBUH).”
