TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “They discussed the parallelity of sanctions with the nuclear deal’s context and came across numerous violations,” he continued.
“Apart from the precautious measures already taken into effect, the general idea of what is to be the countermeasure plan against the US’ actions has been fixed by the parliament foreign policy and national security committee and will be further elaborated.”
He also said that if the national security committee finalized the plan, it would probably be reviewed in a council meeting after the president’s inauguration, probably on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Referring to US President Donald Trump’s speech at G20 summit, Larijani said, “Trump advised other leaders, to not make investments in Iran. This clearly violates the nuclear deal and reveals US conspiracies against us. Hence Iran has to take necessary actions in preventing them from carrying out their plans.”
He also noted that the press should not fall for US deceptive propaganda, their slandering is not as effective as they say it is; especially at the moment that many world powers, such as Russia, China, and France, are having issues with their policies. We should try to attract more foreign investment.”
