TEHRAN, YJC. The Reform candidate says that Hashemi and Khatami are the ones to decide if he is to go or remain on the electoral course.
Mohammadreza Aref, speaking to the people of Qazvin said on
Monday that he is on the electoral stage with Reformist attitudes to pursue
people’s demand.
Aref said then provided comments on the odds that either he or Hassan Rohani are to resign in favor of one another and said "As for coalition and my or Mr. Rohani’s resignation it is the great figures of Reform Messrs. Hashemi and Khatami who must decide. The outcome will be known when considerations are meade.”
Aref who was the Vice President of the Reform administration is supposed to resign to help the Reform administration Secretary of High Council for National Security Hassan Rohani or he is to stay on while Rohani resigns to contribute to a higher vote for a single Reform representative, increasing the hopes by Reformists that one of their candidates will be a strong match for rivals in the upcoming presidential elections.
