TEHRAN, October 9 - Italian art historian and critic Eleonora Frattarolowill be giving a speech on the Pictorial Alphabet by Italian painter and interior designer Antonio Basoli tomorrow.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Organized by the Tehran University of Art, the session will be held at the Malek National Library and Museum Institution.

Basoli published a fantastic set of lithographs for his book “Alfabeto Pittorico” (“Pictorial Alphabet”) in Bologna in 1839. His elaborate architectural drawings of twenty-four letters of the alphabet became later known as Basoli’s Alphabet.
