Tehran, YJC. Martial clergy says that Ahmadinejad went the wrong way of becoming a national hero.

Deputy Agent of the Supreme Leader in the IRGC said in a meeting with Basij members in Qom on Thursday "Ahmadinejad tried to become a national hero, but he went the wrong way. He must have avoided some of his behavior to reach his aim.”

Hojatoleslam Haj-Sadeqi pointed to his recent meeting with Ahmadinejad and said "I told the President ‘You entered the scene with a discourse of the Revolution, the Hizbollahis also supported you. Why did you change your discourse?’”

He also pointed to the Supreme Leader on candidates’ qualifications as saying he will not interfere with the elections or issue state orders, adding "The President visited and negotiated with the Leader for a state order three times, but the Leader did not accept his request.”

Haj-Sadeqi asserted "We would not like the President-elect to fail. We must help him. For the discourse put forward by people’s elect, some of us might have liked others to be elected, but now we congratulate him and consider the event as God’s deed and would like to help him as well as we can.”
