TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Bahram Ghasemi stated that Macron’s trip to Iran is in both sides agenda, but the accurate date of the trip is not yet determined.
He referred to the French President’s expressions on Iran’s missile power and said that Macron’s positioning on Iran’s missile program was not accurate.
“we want France to have more attention to its positioning, and this trip can reduce disagreements between the two sides” he added.
Expressing condolences to earthquake-struck Irainan and Iraqi people, Ghasemi also reported of UK Foreign Minister’s travel to Iran which is probably done before Macron’s.
During his visit to the United Arab Emirates on Thursday, Macron suggested amending the JCPOA.
Later in the day, Macron made a surprise visit to Saudi Arabia, where he said he was “very concerned” about Iran’s ballistic missile program, adding, “There are negotiations we need to start on Iran’s ballistic missiles.”
