TEHRAN, November 29 - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif is visiting Italy and Azerbaijan, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Zarif is going to visit Rome on Thursday to take part in the 3rd Mediterranean Dialogue conference, according to Qassemi.
The conference is going to focus on common security, prosperity as well as immigration, culture and civil society.
Zarif has been officially invited by his Italian counterpart Angelino Alfano and would deliver speech in the conference.
He would then fly to Baku for Heart of Asian conference on Friday.
The conference is going to mainly discuss Afghan developments and provide a framework for boosting friendly and fruitful regional cooperation for promoting regional peace and welfare.
This framework is a path to consider common challenges and interests of Afghanistan and its neighbors and regional partners and is held annually in one of the participating countries.
14 countries are attending the conference and 17 ones are supporting the event. 12 regional and international organizations are also present in the conference.
