Saturday, 31 October 2020 (YJC)_ Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister announced he will meet his Russian counterpart to discuss Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Iran-Russia to discuss Nagorno-Karabakh conflictAfter meeting with his Turkish counterpart on Friday, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, announced he will have a meeting with his Russian counterpart to discuss Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister held talks in Ankara late on Friday with his Turkish counterpart Sedat Onal met.

Among issues that were discussed in the meeting was the developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as Iran’s initiative to improve the situation.

That was a part of regional tour Abbas Araghchi started as Iran’s special envoy to meet the Azerbaijan Republic, Russia and Armenia.

The regional tour is initiated on Tuesday, which first took Araghchi to Baku and then to Moscow, to present Iran's initiative for solving the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis peacefully.

According to his speech “beside putting an end to the attacks on residential areas and civilians, a ceasefire, and the return of the displaced to their homes are among Iran’s initiatives.”
