TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - She made the remarks in a meeting with Ukrainian Ambassador to Iran Serhiy Burdyliak held following Iran-Ukraine MoU on mutual cooperation in energy and petrochemicals.
During the meeting, Shahdaie also introduced investment opportunities for Ukrainian investors in Iran.
Iranian petrochemicals can be exported to Europe as swap and Ukraine could pave the way for Iran’s direct petrochemicals exports to Europe, she said.
She also called Ukraine as a market for Iranian petrochemical companies, saying that, “Iran’s petrochemicals exports grew by 70 percent in the first 6 months of 2017.”
They also discussed establishing export hub for petrochemicals from Iran to Ukraine, expanding know-how between the two countries, investigating Ukrainian refinery products as petrochemical feed to establish petrochemical industry in the European country.
