Saturday, 17 October 2020 (YJC)_ Iran hit 265 new death toll, reporting 522,387 total infected, the Health Ministry’s spokeswoman said.
Reporting on her daily briefing on Friday, The Iranian Health Ministry spokeswoman, Sima Lari, said in the past 24 hours 4, 552 new infected cases were diagnosed.
Among these patients, 2,016 were in crucial state and were hospitalized.
She also reported total 552,384 novel coronavirus infected all over the country.
“265 new cases were died in the past day, and the total coronavirus cases in the country has so far reached 29,870” she added.
According to Lari, 4,684 patients are in critical condition while 420,910 patients have recovered.
So far, 4,454,570 tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases, she added.
