TEHRAN, May 6, YJC - Iran would begin operation of building Arak Heavy Water Reactor in the next Iranian calendar year (starting on March 20, 2018), said Advisor to Iranian Vice President Ali-Asghar Zareaan.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - "The issue of redesigning Arak Reactor has started and Iran will enter into the operation of building the reactor next year,” he added.
He said that generating energy is the most important goal of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), adding producing radio-pharmaceuticals is the other goal of
the organization.
Zareaan said that the enemy is trying to hinder activities of the AEOI to prevent it from joining the ‘cycle of monopoly’.
Iran is using 50 tons of internal reserves of uranium annually.
