In his remarks on Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, said a number of Persian Gulf countries lost years of cooperating with Iran under the influence of former US President, Donald Trump.
“Friendly relation with these Persian Gulf countries is the thing the Islamic Republic of Iran has always sought.” Zarif said.
He went on to add “This region belongs to all of us and its security is in the interest of all of us.”
He, moreover, expressed the readiness of the Islamic Republic to hold talks with regional countries, pointed out the fact that the Iranian officials have repeatedly suggested holding dialogue with these countries and added “A number of Persian Gulf countries lost four years depending on the former US President.”
To end his remarks, he pointed out the fact that “Countries of the Persian Gulf must know that they and Iran will stay in this region and Trump will be gone.”
